My Boyfriend Physically used me and Married Rich Girl

He is my distant relative. My parents wanted me to get married, and they found him as a match for me. On the other hand, I had just come out of a bad 6 years relationship and had been happily single for the past 3 years. I wasn’t interested in meeting him at first, but my mother asked me to talk to him once and then decide. I met him one day just to make my parents happy, and after speaking with him hearing his plans for the future, the way he talked everything mesmerized me, and I started liking him.

He went home that day and told his father that he liked me too. From the very next day, we started talking, and he would come to meet me every day. As I spent more time with him, I learned from his words that he missed his mother, who had passed away 3 years ago. I also found out from my relatives that he had stopped mingling with people after his mother’s death. This made me care for him even more; I wanted to give him all the love he was missing and fill that void. We became very close and enjoyed each other’s company.

One day, his father visited my home, and after returning, he said he didn’t want us to get married because of my family’s financial status. This guy kept asking his father for approval, telling him how much he loved me. But his father threatened to kick him out of the house if he married me. Up until then, we had waited for his father’s approval. But after hearing those words, he asked me to leave him and move on. I couldn’t give up so easily and began begging him to stay with me. Meanwhile, his father started looking for other matches.

This guy told me everything that was happening at his house and cried, saying he didn’t want to leave me. I was heartbroken, but I didn’t leave him, hoping for a miracle. In the meantime, his father accepted another match and got him engaged, which I wasn’t aware of. As usual, he came to meet me one day, and at the same time, my mother called and told me that he had gotten engaged. When I confronted him, he said he didn’t tell me because he didn’t want to make me feel sad.

I asked him why he was willing to marry someone else, and his response shocked me. He said his father wanted someone financially more stable. Meanwhile, I had rejected all the better matches for his sake. I was so depressed after hearing this that I stopped working, stayed at home, and cried for days. We had been intimate before all this happened, and I told him that I wasn’t feeling well. His reply crushed me: “If you’re pregnant, please get an abortion. I don’t want to complicate this any further.

My family’s respect is more important than anything now.” I didn’t know who to share my pain with. He eventually stopped talking to me, and whenever I tried to reach out, he would either block me or hurt me with his words. One day, while going through WhatsApp stories, I saw one of my relatives’ posts, where I saw his wedding picture. I immediately asked him about it, and his response was, “Why should I tell you? I didn’t want to disturb you.” My heart broke into pieces.

After that, I never texted him again because I didn’t want his wife to go through the same pain that I did. He’s out there now, happily celebrating with his wife, while I’m still here, crying over everything that happened. He had flaws too, but I never cared about them. I just wanted to give him love, and this is what I got in return.
