I was in a 7 years relationship. I always supported him in every situation. Due to caste differences, it was difficult to get married, but I still convinced my mother. This year has been both the best and worst, as I spent valuable time with him, but also discovered that he had been cheating on me for the past 2 to 3 years. When I got placed in a company in 2021, we started a long distance relationship. Since then, he had been cheating on me, and this year I found out. I decided to end the relationship, but he already felt guilty.
He told me that he had left the other girl multiple times, but she kept blackmailing him, threatening to end her life if he left her, so he couldn’t resist getting attached again. The main issue is that he cheated on both of us and never told her about me. His whole family knew about our relationship and now supports my decision to end it, especially after understanding why. He never hurt me during these 7 years and always fulfilled my every wish. I was happy with him. He even joined a company in a good position just to win over my parents.
But for 2 to 3 years, he kept another girl on the side, saying it was just physical attraction. Now, he’s feeling guilty, crying, and constantly asking for a second chance. He says he always loved me and was just physically attracted to the other girl. I’m dealing with multiple issues now: mood swings, anxiety, frustration, losing focus on my career, and picking fights with others over small things because I can’t decide what to do.
